Zoomed-out view of Coos BayOkay, thats the update. Now lets get into details about today's post. For the july 4th weekend, when its was around 90 degrees here, Tee & I decided to go to the Oregon coast for the weekend, as it was much cooler there. We stayed at an airBnB(big fans of airBnB here) near a little town called Elkton. On the first day, we did dune buggy rides. This was our first time driving the buggy ourselves. Its such an adrenalin rush. So much fun and adventurous. Also tried sand-boarding for the first time.
Road trip begins with a 4th of July spirit in red, white and blue(not pictured)
Passing through small towns is the favorite part
Successfully and safely returned from the buggy ride

Mongolian buffet on the way back, yum! While we had a lot of fun, the main reason this would be a memorable trip for us is because of our host at our airBnB house. Its a not a human, but a dog called Buddy. His tactics to come into the house(he is an outside dog) reminded me of Juno, my pet dog of 12 years who passed away last year. Buddy is old, but the sweetest and the cutest. He gave us great company, and Tee just fell in love with him. We still talk about him, and plan to visit him again in a few months.
